DARTMOUTH HIGH SCHOOL

LIVE - 1 Hour Q&A Sessions with NS Student Assistance

NS Student Assistance (student loans) is holding several 1 hour long Q&A sessions with parents and students who may have further questions. Registration is required, and is strictly a Q&A with no formal presentation within this session.

These Q&A sessions will assume that parents/students have already viewed the Grade 11/12 high school presentation below:

Video Presentation:  HOW to get Student Assistance Working for You
Runtime:  ~22 mins on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/ETW9HuEnEY8
Topics covered in the video presentation include:  Eligibility criteria
• Student-focused features of the program that make it different than traditional financial borrowing

• Total loan and grant funding available through each program
• Loan Forgiveness and other reasons it makes more financial sense than ever to study and stay in Nova Scotia
• How to ask questions, now and later, including specific help for students with disabilities.
