GRADUATION REHEARSAL
When: Thursday, June 26th at 1pm
Where: Dartmouth High
Grade 12 students will gather to rehearse the graduation ceremony line-up etc. and will receive their grad gowns and caps for the ceremony. Please ensure that we at DHS are aware if your student is not attending the graduation ceremony.
CLASS OF 2025 GRADUATION CEREMONY
When: Friday, June 27th at 9am
Where: Zatzman Sportsplex
Note: Graduates should arrive by 8:15am to begin the line-up. Ceremony begins at 9:00am – estimated to be finished in 2 ½ hours.
A reminder that there are absolutely NO tickets required for graduation and graduates can have as many guests as they would like at the ceremony
At the ceremony, graduating students will receive an envelope containing:
High School Diploma
French Immersion or O2 Certificate (if applicable)
Honors Certificate (if applicable)
Additional Certificates (if applicable)
1 copy of a sealed transcript of marks (to use for future applications/scholarships)
1 copy of an unsealed transcript of marks (as a personal record of marks)
REMINDER: If you are attending NSCC or a university within Nova Scotia, your final transcript will automatically be uploaded to the post-secondary institution after graduation. YOU DO NOT NEED TO COMPLETE A TRANSCRIPT REQUEST FORM!
If you are attending a post-secondary institution outside of Nova Scotia, or a private college within Nova Scotia and require a final transcript be sent via email, please make sure to send a transcript request by June 30th at 11am. Visit dhs.hrce.ca to access the transcript request form. This must include the post-secondary institution you are attending and their email address to send the transcript to. You will be receiving one sealed transcript in your grad package at graduation, which you can mail to the institution yourself if you wish or if you miss the above deadline. DHS is not able to mail transcripts to post-secondary institutions as we will be closed for the summer.
